History –   

 Formed on 1 December 1914 (MO 550/14) and designated as #572 The Humboldt Cadet Corps and affiliated in 1920 to The North Saskatchewan Regiment. The Corps was disbanded 16 August 1926 (MO 471/26).

The Corps was re activated on 28 February 1941 (CAO Supp 83/41) as #572 The Humboldt High School Cadet Corps. This Corps was affiliated with The Saskatoon Light Infantry (MG) effective 8 November 1947. On March 1st, 1955 affiliation was changed to 2nd Battalion, The North Saskatchewan Regiment (SLI). 
The Corps was once again disbanded, effective 31 December 1957 (CAO Supp 585/58).

History –   

This Corps was formed 1 Dec 1914. It was designated 572 Humboldt High School Cadet Corps (according to correspondence on file at HQs). Affiliation with the Saskatoon Light Infantry (MG) RCIC. This affiliation was cancelled 28 Feb 1955 and the Corps re-affiliation with 2nd Btn, the N. Sask Regt. (The Saskatoon Light Infantry (MG). The Corps was disbanded 31 Dec 1957. 
Re activated effective 1 January 1959 (CAO Supp 637/59) and re designated as #572 Humboldt Legion Cadet Corps and re affiliated with 2nd Bn, The North Saskatchewan Regiment. In concert with the re designation of the affiliated unit, affiliation was changed accordingly to The North Saskatchewan Regiment in 1970. The Corps is sponsored by Branch 28 Royal Canadian Legion. Effective 1 Jan 1959 the Corps was reformed under the designation 572 Humboldt (Legion) Cadet Corps and was affiliated with 2nd Battalion, the North Saskatchewan Regt (the Saskatoon Light Infantry). Effective Dec 70 the affiliated unit became known as N. Sask Regt vice 2 NSR. It is sponsored by the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 28, Humboldt (no auth?).
