History
The Corps was formed 15 November 1906 (MO 263/06) and designated #155 The Regina High School Cadet Corps. On 9 March 1908 it was re designated #155 The Regina Collegiate Institute Cadet Corps. B Coy was formed 6 June 1913 under authority of MO 322/13 followed by C and D Coys which resulted in the Corps being re organized as a Cadet Battalion. disbanded 2 May 1933. The Battalion was re designated as #155 Central Collegiate Cadet Corps effective 11 December 1940 (MO 292/40). The Corps was re designated #155 Regina Rifle Cadet Corps (Central Collegiate Detachment) effective 17 November 1942 (CAO Supp 404/43) and affiliated with 2nd Battalion (R), Regina Rifle Regiment. The Corps was redesignated #155 Regina Rifle Regiment Cadet Corps effective 1 September 1965 and subsequently #155 Royal Regina Rifles Cadet Corps on 9 November 1984. It is assumed that earlier affiliation would have been with the predecessors of the present Regiment, namely; 95th Regiment until 1913, 95th Saskatchewan Rifles until 1920, and The South Saskatchewan Regiment until the formation of The Regina Rifle Regiment on 15 May 1924.
The corps reformed 11 Dec 1940 as the Central Collegiate Institute Cadet Corps. Desig & affil.: Regina Rifle Cadet Corps Nov 17 1942. Regina Collegiate Institute Cadet Battalion In 1942, the corps became affiliated with the Regina Rifles, and took the name of 155 Regina Rifle Cadet Corps Central Collegiate Detachment. On 1 Sep 65 it redesignated as Regina Rifle Regiment Cadet Corps. Effective 10 Jul 82 the Regina Rifle Regiment renamed as the Royal Regina Rifles, hence the sponsor and affiliation renamed. D Cdts 2306 message dated 3 Dec 84 changed designation to the Royal Regina Rifles Army Cadet Corps. Eff 13 Mar 87 the Royal Canadian Legion Br. No. 1 became co-sponsor. H.Q. 12-165-1
